TasteSpirit (www.tastespirit.com) is China’s leading wine media and education company with 3 Million active online users/year, animated by the vision to build the most dynamic community of worldwine terroir-driven wine lovers. TS runs wine schools in eight major metropolitan Chinese cities and each year organizes international academic and scientific conferences and events with leading wine and food researchers, experts and personalities.
Ian D’Agata is the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of TasteSpirit and the Editor-in-Chief of the TS wine review. He will lead the creation of a new terroir-based wine school and oversee the organization of wine events and conferences with an academic format and flair spanning the world’s many great wines wineries and foodstuffs, and wine and food personalities. Ian D’Agata now lives in Shanghai and works internationally exclusively with TasteSpirit; he is therefore not associated with any other event or institution that organizes wine and food events outside of Italy. In Italy he maintains consultancy positions with Collisioni and Vinitaly, but is not involved in their international events. If the very rare occasions Ian might participate in a special international event with someone other than TasteSpirit, it will be announced by Ian and Ian only and will be clearly explained on this website.
