Michele Longo

A graduate in Information Systems with a Master Degree in Engineering and Management, Michele always focused on the “human side” more than on technical aspects of wine. A Certified Sommelier, he writes for “Barolo&Co” curating the “Territori del Mito” column. He is also one of the past curators of  the Wine Educational Board (W.E.B.), collaborating with Collisioni Festival and was co-curator of the “W.E.B. Tasting Notes” section while the WEB was still functioning. He is also Associate-Director of  iandagata.com  and is co-curator, with Ian D’Agata of the Italy Section of Hugh Johnson’s “Wine Pocket Book”. Judge at the “Decanter World Wine Awards”, he was co-curator, together with Massimo Comparini, of the “Best Italian Wines Guide” up to the 2017 edition. He has co-written with Ian D’Agata and Lingzi He the book Barolo: Nebbiolo, the crus, the terroirs (in-press, coming soon this Autumn 2020). There, cru, wines and people of this famous Langhe denomination are told through the history, the storytelling of producers and the experience of authors.

Giulia Corino

With a Master’s degree in Literature, she later specialized in Government and Human Sciences in Turin and in Cultural Management and Policy in Venice and Paris.

Thanks to her collaboration with Collisioni Festival and Ian D’Agata, she had the chance to approach the wine world and she immediately grew passionate of it. She became involved in this new field of studies and she attended and passed with merit the WSET level 3. Now, she is pursuing her studies and is aiming in time to reach the Diploma level.
Meanwhile, she has kept on working with Collisioni and with Ian and she is now assistant director iandagata.com, hospitality manager of Collisioni Wine Project and Coordinator of the various “Indigena” programs, ad well as responsible for the organization of 3iC, the international wine and food school that was created by ian for Collisioni before he moved on to his new school projects.

In her free time, she likes writing about culture , travels and art for her friend’s blogs and online magazines.

Emily Huang (Taiwan)

Emily graduated from university with an English Language and Literature Bachelors degree, and followed this up with a Master degree in European Studies from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, in Leuven, Belgium. Super passionate about European culture, especially when it comes to the humanities and the way of life and mentality of Italy and Italians. Therefore, Italian wine is the perfect match for her passion, and had always wanted to work with Ian, her mentor, as this provides her with greater opportunities to dig much deeper into the fascinating, but wild and complex world of Italian wine.

Emily was one of Ian’s 3iC wine and food students, and as of July 2019, was put in charge of his Instagram Communications. She is also the Administrator of the Taiwan Italian Wine Forum that promotes Italian wine culture via events, meetings, tastings and forums. She is also the co-founder of Sammarinese Wine/Vino, a small Taiwanese importing company that also offers wine business consulting and market analysis.
